A founding partner of The Trailblazer Group, Ryan Price has over fifteen years of experience in domestic politics with extensive contacts and networks in all 50 states. He most recently served as the Director of Public and Special Events at the 58th Presidential Inaugural Committee for President Donald J. Trump.
In this role, Mr. Price managed a multi-million dollar budget, a staff of 110 personnel, and oversaw all official inaugural events, ranging from the Make America Great Again Welcome Concert at the Lincoln Memorial, to private dinners for the cabinet secretaries and Vice-President, the official Inaugural Balls, and the Inaugural Parade.
Prior to the inaugural, Mr. Price led the Trump for President convention team at the 2016 Republican National Convention as the Director of Caucus Operations. In Cleveland, he advised the Trump campaign leadership on political strategy and managed a multi-million dollar budget to execute all Trump campaign functions at the convention. His responsibilities included all programming for the live television broadcast, security and VIP movements with the United States Secret Service, and the building and implementation of a 200-person political floor whip operation. Mr. Price developed and implemented strategies for all movements and activity on the floor of the convention, including motions, presidential and vice-presidential roll call nominations, state delegation seating, and VIP movements.
In the 2012 general election, Mr. Price served as Romney-Ryan’s Director of Debate Operations, where he managed two presidential and one vice-presidential debates for the campaign. Prior to that, as the Director of Operations for the 2012 Republican National Convention in Tampa, he managed an $11 million budget and the largest convention campus in GOP history, as well as advised the Romney campaign on convention tactics.
As the National Delegate and Deputy Political Director for Senator John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign, Mr. Price handled ballot access and ensured ballots with filed delegates in every state and territory included Senator McCain. Additionally, Mr. Price managed over two dozen state conventions while developing an extensive national grassroots network that he then mobilized en route to John McCain winning the Republican presidential nomination.
Mr. Price served as the Director of Floor Operations at the 2008 Republican National Convention. In this position, he coordinated all 56 delegations and over 5000 delegates and alternate delegates, as well as built, organized, and ran the a 130+ member floor operations team.
Prior to joining the McCain campaign, Mr. Price worked for Tom Gallagher in his 2006 Florida gubernatorial bid. As statewide Political Director, Mr. Price led a staff of ten field directors and handled every aspect of the grassroots operation in the nation’s fourth largest state. He received his start on major campaigns in 1998, where he managed his first political field organization by serving as a southeast Field Director for gubernatorial candidate Jeb Bush, and in the 2000 Presidential election for George W. Bush.
A native of Florida, Mr. Price graduated from Appalachian State University in North Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in communication, and received his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law. Mr. Price also served in the U.S. Army’s First Ranger Battalion. He and his family reside in the Washington, D.C. area.
